Engineering and Medicine. 

The use of technology to better patient outcomes and quality of life is truly intriguing. My eyes were opened to the vast field of engineering in medicine when I first learnt of the Da Vinci Surgical System as a child. The awe of a robotic system so precise in its minute movements. Its ability to carefully remove the skin of a grape is followed by the cautious stitching of the skin. I aspire toward the innovation and expertise required to develop such a system.

 

The endless possibilities that technological development hold ignited a passion in me. I aspire to pursue studies and a future career in the development of innovative products.
