Arduino Pump Control

As part of the module, we are required to construct a control circuit to control the speed and direction of a water pump. The switchboard includes LEDs to allow users to check if the pump is turned on, at x1 speed, x2 speed or operating in the reversed direction.

Pump Control Operation

Controlled using various switches 

The objective of the project is for students to gain a better understanding of the components that make up various medical devices. The coding of the Arduino and the regulation of the pump speed using the different switch settings allows for students to gain an appreciation of pump controls in medical devices such as blood pumps. The LEDs help users to identify the settings to which the pump is set. The assignment was concluded with a report to show the different settings that our switchboard had.
